March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This awareness is devoted to education, promotes, and screens individuals for colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer screening helps with early detection and aids in the appropriate treatment plan. Colorectal cancer screening starts at age 45, but if there is a family history screening, it can start sooner. Also, screening ends at age 75, but if you're older, please discuss your decision to screen with your doctor.
