September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. Childhood obesity can cause many different medical issues/diseases like asthma, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, and joint & bone problems, just to name a few. Childhood obesity can lead to adult obesity. Tips to prevent childhood obesity:
Get moving as a family (biking, hiking, walking, playing outside...)Eat healthy meals as a family.*Reduce sugary drink with water.*Get plenty of sleep and have scheduled bedtime. These healthy tips can prevent childhood obesity.
